What do I get my husband's sister for her 17th birthday?

She's not really into normal teen things. She loves the classics like Charles Dicken's, etc. She's into Classical music.

I want to get her something for her other than going half and half with my husband just because she's really been there for me recently. What do I get my husband's sister for her 17th birthday?
You could buy her a book. Ask her mum what things she likes and if she said she wanted something but her mum hasn't got it for her yet. Also some suggestions:

A gift card for a shop she likes

Some accessories (hair or makeup)

A photo album

Some money? What do I get my husband's sister for her 17th birthday?
To be honest. I would get her a nice card and write something nice in it, about how she has been there for you etc and put some money in it. I know it seems impersonal BUT I always used to get presents from ppl that I hated or would never use. Money she can buy what she wants with it.

Or if you dont really want to give her money maybe go online and find some concert tickets to her faveourite classical band. Or Theatre tickets for some play. A pretty handmade journal so she can write in it with a personalised pen. ummm Trying to think of what else. Maybe if she really loves Dickens you can find a first edition book.

If she has started her driving lessons. You could buy her something to put in her car. Or some cds.

Hope this has helped.
Hello,

Try having a look on http://www.seekgifts.co.uk. You can tailer your search to things she may like.

If you don't find anything then the website takes what you entered in and looks for things that she might like. The next time you go on the site (e.g the next day) there are products more suited to that person.

It's great. I found it really helpful!!

David
oraganise a party? collectors edition of one of the books she likes? a bracelet or necklace?

giftcards are not very thoughtful, especially if you want it to be a gift that will show your appreciation for her being there for you
•an iTunes gift card

•an iPod Touch

•Borders, Barnes %26amp; Noble, or Walden gift card

•Visa or American Express gift card

•gift card to her favorite store

•Starbucks gift card
Get her some classical books, penguin has some amazing classics. I recommend One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest which i'm reading and is very good.
I'd give her a gift voucher to a shop she really loves ...

Sit down with her and ask her what she would really want or as I said get her a gift voucher.
get her an itunes card.
