What to buy for my husband for our anniversary? Any nice suggestions?
We have our 19th anniversary this weekend, and I am looking to get nice ideas for him. Can be something spicy as well... I don't want to but clothes or work tools, and he dose not have any specific hobbies as well.
I have no idea what to buy and was hoping for ideas . If there are ideas to make as well, in addition to buy please let me know.

It's very annoying when in the middle of the night, I have to use the potty and the seat is up!...

My sister had to do this... she took the seat completely off, no matter what happened, when he complained about it being gone, when he had to do other business..she would tell him.. ';Hey when i had to go, the seat was up..sinse you like it that way.. you got it'; she wouldn't put it back on..he learned quick...How can I get my husband to leave the toilet seat down?!!?
Ask him to, if he don't, then cut him off until he starts doing like you asked, and besides the point, whey do we men have to leave the seat down anyway? Do you leave the seat up for him? Most considerate men will leave it down when wer're done, but always wondered why we have to leave it down and girls always leave it down, can't either of you think about the other when your done with your Business in there? Sort of lazy on both of your parts if you ask me?

Gentlemen, please know that it is for these reasons that we ladies appreciate you lifting the seat!
2. The biggest risk to us falling into the toilet with a seat left up is during the middle of the night. This is because, as considerate beings, we generally try to perform our nocturnal bathroom visits without turning on the lights and waking YOU up. So it should be obvious to you that we can't see if the seat is up or down. If you would prefer, I suggest that women all over the world unite and turn on every light as many times as it necessary during the night so that they can see if you've booby-trapped the bathroom for us.
Your call guys! can you be considerate so that we may continue to be considerate also???

And are you 3 years old that you don't know why he needs it up? You see, us men, we pee standing up. So to keep you from whining like a child, we put the seat up to avoid peeing on it. Because who wants to sit on a seat covered in urine?
So when you grow up and become a big girl, hopefully you'll be smart enough to look at the toilet before you sit down.
It IS very annoying. Unfortunately, I think you just have to deal with it. My ex-husband always left the seat up. My current husband always remembers to put it down. It's in their personality to either remember or forget. There is no changing them!! It's just one of those things, like remembering to take out the garbage or put the new roll of toilet paper on. BTW, I think they lift it up so they don't drip or splash onto the seat you're going to sit down on. So just be glad he remembers to lift it up, and you don't sit in a puddle of pee! Good luck! :)
He was taught to lift the seat to pee so he didn't get it on the seat he just never learned to put it down when he was finished. Just tell him about it and the next time he does it tell him you're tired of falling in the toilet and getting your butt wet. If that doesn't work make him sit down all the time no matter what he is doing. That's what I do it is easier and more courteous to others. Tell him to have some respect for you if he loves you he will do it.

One time i went and bought a toilet seat cover that was very plush and thick. Every time he went to pee and raised the seat the cushion was there and would flop back down on his weenie. So he stopped using my bathroom for a while. Try it. At least the toilet seat will fall back down when he is through.

But I heard a comedian talking about this subject once and he said...Why do we have to put it down...Why don't you put it up when you're done with it...lol...makes sense too, I guess. Like another poster said, at least he raises it up so you don't have to sit in the pee sprinkled on the seat. And if you know it's gonna be up in the middle of the night, then just put it down before you go potty. It's really not worth an arguement, is it???
Well, if they didn't put it up we'd be sitting in pee every time. I have just gotten used to this with my husband. I automatically put in down in the middle of the night. What bothers me even worse is the drippage that gets on the floor in front of the toilet. I've always thought it was pretty gross shakin it around to get pee off! Thank god us women are civilized enough to use toilet paper ;)

It IS very annoying. Unfortunately, I think you just have to deal with it. My ex-husband always left the seat up. My current husband always remembers to put it down. My husband spend a lot of money on lawyers and he never files to reduce child support even are paying the same and we have 4 kids since then. we pay airplane tickets and his ex change the date and the time or ask her son to call us and pretend to be sick or busy.
I am so frustrated when i talk about it he gets mad and live the house.

It sounds aggravating, but even though you are married to him this situation is form before your marriage. Your husband needs ot take care of his son, and if your husband feels he is being taken advantage of HE needs to do something about it. I can understand you wanting all of him and his attention but it just can't be. You have to share, you knew that when you met him. As for the financial aspect, he is going to have to renegotiate with his ex. If the kids from the previous marriage are angry with him he will have to work on that with them. I hate to say it, but it doesn't have much to do with you except that you get the short end of the stick. You can choose not to go on the trips, which would save alot of money. Also, don't harp on your husband. Try to be supportive or you may be the ex to some other woman down the road.

In a calmly manner explain to him that there is no sense in all of this out of pocket expenses. Which ever parent moved out of the state should pay for the plain trip. The child support should be reviewed. You need to let your husband also know that he is married to you and not her. You need to look him in the eye and ask him does he want to be married to you or his ex-wife. If chooses you tell him that there are going to be some changes and let him know what they are. The child that is suppose to be visiting with the family, go on an outing or do something that has to involve everyone and getting out of the house and corresponding with each other.

As long as he isn't obsessed with it what harm is he doing. Guys will always want to look at other women. And a lot of guys will fantasize about them sometimes. But they will remain faithful. It is not that you do not satisfy them it is that they are male.
Try asking your husband to show you the pictures and tell you what he likes and finds attractive. If you let him know you are jealous then he will try to hide this from you because he does not want to hurt you. But on the other hand if you let him know you are not intimidated by pictures of other woman and you want to know how you can please him better sexually (and he you) then you may find a positive result.
Try to turn a negative into a positive and improve your sex life and relationship. Or just ignore it.

Try to turn a negative into a positive and improve your sex life and relationship. Or just ignore it.
If this is something that he knows outright truly bothers you, I would think which is more important? your feelings or pics of fake girls he can never have?? listen, what is wrong with men? instead of paying attention to the woman they actually do have, they prefer to look elsewhere? if they devoted all that time they spend looking at other woman and spent the time on their wifes whether in or out of the bedroom, I would venture to say most relationships would be better off. What should I get my husband for Valentine's day?
He is 26 years old if that makes a difference. We have been together almost 9 years and married for 4 and it still seems like I can't think of anything to get him. I know that people say this holiday is for the women but I would not feel right if I did not get him some token of my affections however corny it may be. I'm also making him some choc. chip cookies with the read and pink swirly things. Got them at Wal-mart. And I bought some new lingerie. Omg, i got it from Victoria's Secret for like 50% off $12! They're having a big sale. I usually don't get stuff there. That night i'll prolly light a bunch of candles and put my ipod on my love songs playlist. Those type of things really are more for us, but I know he enjoys it too.
(If he hasn't planned anything yet you can plan on making him dinner and setting the table really nice with candles and music)
